Maciej Załęski is a technology leader with more than 20 years of experience designing and building distributed systems across financial services, trading, blockchain and large-scale data platforms.
He began his career in financial technology, working across organisations including Lloyds, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Marshall Wace and Dealogic, where he contributed to trading, market data, regulatory reporting and high-volume financial systems through software development, test automation, performance engineering and system validation.
He later moved deeper into blockchain and digital assets, co-founding technology businesses where he personally designed and built products spanning blockchain infrastructure, secure transaction signing, DeFi, portfolio valuation and pricing, with successful exits from products he helped create.
More recently, Maciej has led the architecture and hands-on development of high-volume distributed platforms where security, resilience, fault tolerance and predictable performance are fundamental requirements.
Across his career, Maciej has combined strategic technical leadership with the ability to work directly at implementation level, taking complex systems from early design through production and scale.
